近日，根据中组部通知，中国科学院南海海洋所李芊博士入选第二批“青年千人计划”。本批次共有 218人入选，其中广州地区8人。

 李芊博士是中国科学院南海海洋所新近从美国引进的高层次青年人才之一，获美国迈阿密大学海洋和大气化学博士，曾在NOAA大西洋海洋和气象研究所、迈阿密大学罗森斯蒂尔海洋和大气科学学院、斯克里普斯海洋研究所任博士后、研究助理、Research Associate等职位。

在美国学习工作期间，他开展了海洋生物地球化学、海水化学传感器，海洋生态学、海洋物理与生物地球化学相互作用等方面研究，参与3项美国国家自然科学基金项目并主持2项大学科研基金课题。在海洋环境科学领域取得了令人瞩目的科研成果：使用长光程液体波导技术准确测定海水中纳摩尔级氨的含量，被评为“年度最热门的25篇文章”之一；大洋中超低浓度硝酸盐和磷酸盐的实时监测方法，已被美国许多大学实验室广为采用；利用高精度海水稀释实验实现生物地球化学模型参数化和有效性检验，并应用于加利福尼亚洋流生物地球化学过程的现场诊断，解决了精确预测海洋生物有机碳的时空分布及变化速率的难题。他以第一作者及其合作者身份，在国际专业杂志上发表了11篇高水平的SCI论文，是美国长期生态学研究计划加利福尼亚流生态系统研究的核心成员之一。

李芊博士现任热带海洋环境国家重点实验室研究员，从事海洋生物地球化学、中小尺度海洋物理与生物相互作用以及海洋环境监测和传感器技术等方面的研究。

Dr. Qian Li is a full professor at the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ South China Sea Institute of Oceanology. He received his Ph.D. in Marine and Atmospheric Chemistry from the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science and got his postdoctoral training at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California, San Diego. He was selected to CAS One Hundred Talent Program on December 2011 and the National 1000-Plan Recruitment of Global Young Experts on February 2012.
